Mission Studios is a film and commercial production company specializing in political, non-profit, and issue-oriented media. We work with Democratic media consultants, non-profits, and issue-advocacy organizations to create beautiful media that seeks to make an impact — media that has a mission.

Naveen Mallikarjuna, Founder & Creative Director

An expert in visual communication and strategy, Naveen Mallikarjuna has worked for nearly two decades creating advertising for politics, non-profits, and corporate clients.

Naveen got his start at The Campaign Group, working as an editor and motion graphics designer on hundreds of television ads for political campaigns and independent expenditure groups across the U.S., at all levels of office.

In 2015 Naveen founded Mission Studios to help Democratic consultants across the country create beautiful, messaging-focused ads and videos. Naveen oversees executive-level direction over all creative, ensuring that the work meets the highest standards of political and issue advocacy media. This includes planning, on-set direction during production with on-camera talent, as well as overseeing the execution of all aspects of editing and design.

In addition to his political work, Naveen has worked on numerous projects for corporations and nonprofits, as well as entertainment clients, including Comcast, Independence Blue Cross, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Braskem, Pioneers Health, Swain Entertainment and Grovara TV.

Naveen and his wife are based in the Washington D.C. area.
